The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has officially announced the first projects worldwide to achieve certification under the new LEED v5 rating system, marking a major milestone in advancing decarbonization, health, and sustainability in the built environment. Representing more than 12 million square feet across nine countries, this inaugural group of projects—including BranchPattern’s Omaha office as the first LEED v5 Platinum project in the U.S.—highlights the global adaptability and impact of the next generation of LEED.
