Alex's academic journey, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas, has given him a strong foundation in the measurable aspects of engineering design. Inspired by Louis Kahn's idea that a great building "must begin with the unmeasurable," Alex focuses on a human-centered design approach. This philosophy, paired with BranchPattern's mission of "Improving Life Through Better Built Environments," motivates him to create solutions that are both innovative and impactful.

Beyond his professional achievements, Alex is an avid golfer, disc golfer, and soccer player. A lesser-known talent is his ability to play the piano.
