Thinking Beyond the Walls We Build
BIO
Associate

Conlan Berger is a Mechanical Engineer at BranchPattern who believes in dreaming big and designing the systems to bring those dreams to life. Whether drafting detailed plans or engineering complete plumbing systems for new and retrofit buildings, he brings a hands-on, heads-up mindset and a constant curiosity for mechanical design. His work may be behind the walls, but the impact is front and center.

Fueled by collaboration and caffeine, Conlan thrives in BranchPattern’s team-driven culture. He loves working across offices and diving into projects where everyone contributes their expertise to shape smarter, more resilient outcomes. His proudest work includes community-focused efforts like KVC Webster Grove and the Sandhills campus—projects where every pipe and fitting adds up to something greater than the drawings suggest.

When he’s not designing smarter systems, Conlan’s chasing another kind of precision on the golf course. An avid golfer, he appreciates the focus, strategy, and occasional humbling moments that come with the game. Off the green, he gives back through volunteer work and brings additional skills to the table, including fire protection and medical gas design. His next milestone? Passing the FE exam and continuing to build systems that stand the test of time. As Einstein said, “Never give up on what you really want to do," and for Conlan, that means delivering spaces that serve people and purpose.
