As a WELL Performance Testing Agent and RESET AP, he channels his passion for healthier environments into providing data that validates building designs and operations. Eric McGowan

As an Acoustics Consultant, he helps projects hit all the right notes by fine-tuning sound isolation, room acoustics, MEP noise control, and environmental noise. Whether troubleshooting a rattle or dialing in the perfect reverberation time, Eric works closely with architects, engineers, and clients to turn acoustic challenges into smooth, sound solutions. His secret? A mix of technical precision, easygoing collaboration, and the ability to explain decibels without giving anyone a headache.
With deep expertise in architectural acoustics and membership in the Acoustical Society of America, Eric has made waves on major projects like the NFL Headquarters in Inglewood and Sirius XM Studios in Hollywood. But perhaps the most meaningful sound to him is progress in his hometown of Kansas City, where he hopes to leave a legacy, one building and one well-balanced soundscape at a time.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Marketing, Management and Business Administration, from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, Caitlyn combines her communication prowess and creative flair to shine in her role. She is an active member of SMPS, continually growing and learning within her field. Beyond her professional growth, Caitlyn excels in interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with coworkers and clients alike. When she's off the clock, Caitlyn’s zest for life takes center stage. Her knack for organization and natural ability to anticipate needs help streamline complex processes and make life easier for those around her. For Jenna, it’s all about enabling the team to work smarter and focus on the big picture.

One of her proudest accomplishments has been digging into legacy contracts to help bring the LEED Volume program into a cleaner, more organized system. Whether designing high-performance HVAC and plumbing systems or fine-tuning load calculations, Klaudio works with precision, curiosity, and a commitment to sustainability—making buildings greener, more efficient, and more comfortable for the people who use them.
Originally from Albania, Klaudio’s journey has taken him through Montreal, Toronto, Waterloo, and now Kansas City—gathering new perspectives (and winter coats) along the way. He’s currently pursuing his FE certification and staying active with ASHRAE YEA to continue learning and growing his professional network. With a mind built for engineering and a heart set on progress, Klaudio is already making a meaningful impact on the spaces where people live, work, and breathe.
When he’s not deep in drawing sets or optimizing systems, Klaudio’s swapping schematics for stories—diving into Dostoevsky, Camus, and Kafka one existential crisis at a time, chasing soccer balls and volleyballs, or finding new ways to turn everyday moments into small adventures.

With a strong foundation in LEED Volume Certifications and a passion for human-centered design, Davis excels at relationship-building that promotes innovation and empathy.
During his time with the LEED Volume Team at BranchPattern, Davis certified more than 20 LEED projects as a project manager, where technical understanding and thorough problem-solving became his strengths. Then, as a Project Executive on that team, Davis exemplified authentic client communication alongside the project managers on his team. Holding credentials such as LEED AP BD+C and ISSP SEA, Davis brings a unique perspective that bridges technical knowledge with business acumen. This background enables Davis to foster long-term relationships and champion initiatives that create measurable impact.
Fascinated by the intersection of design, sustainability, and human experience, Davis draws creative inspiration from science fiction classics like Arthur C. Clarke’s Childhood’s End and Aldous Huxley's Island, using these narratives to envision bold, future-ready solutions. To recharge and refocus outside of work, Davis spends his time visiting independent theaters to catch a movie or finding a local band playing a live show.

Matt Sockrider

As Controller at BranchPattern, Matt Sockrider keeps the financials in check and the spreadsheets sharp without losing sight of the people behind the numbers. He’s the human API between finance and every other department, translating dollars and decimals into insights that move the company forward. Whether he’s decoding new regulations or ensuring the books balance beautifully, Matt’s mantra is simple: “Keep stacking days.” Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it definitely had a great budget.
With a CPA license, an MBA in Accounting from Rockhurst University, and a reputation for keeping the financial ship not just afloat but cruising, Matt excels at turning numbers into strategy. Whether untangling the “One Big Beautiful Bill” or fine-tuning reports to reflect the firm’s financial pulse, he helps ensure BranchPattern’s books are as resilient as its buildings. His secret weapon? A love of consistency, because steady hands build strong futures.
Outside of work, Matt stays busy (and often one-handed) with young kids, mastering the art of multitasking with a toddler in tow. He and his wife not only share the same initials (MAS) but also perfectly aligned birthdays. Each other’s half-birthday, to be exact. When he’s not swimming with the kids or checking out the latest dessert spot, you’ll probably find him cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder, a team he’s supported through every high and low.

Since earning her Master’s in Sustainable Buildings and Environments from the UK in 2016, Eliana has been actively working to leave a positive mark on the sustainability field. She holds impressive credentials such as LEED BD+C, WELL AP, EDGE Expert, and LFA, and is an active member of USGBC and ILFI. Her commitment to leaving the world better than she found it has led her to work on notable projects globally, including in the UK, Ireland, Azerbaijan, and the Dominican Republic before joining BranchPattern. A highlight of her career was serving as an energy assessor for a 500 million euro leisure project in a forest.
Eliana’s creativity shines through her beautiful jewelry-making and expressive watercolor painting. Olivia Hall is a Building Enclosure Specialist at BranchPattern, where she’s on a mission to make buildings better—one detail, meeting, and rabbit hole of discovery at a time. Whether she’s reviewing assemblies, chasing down subgrade specs, or learning from every conversation, Olivia brings relentless curiosity and just the right amount of mischief to keep things interesting. No two days look the same, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Currently LEED AP-certified (with BD+C and BECxP on the horizon), Olivia blends technical exploration with people-first project management. She loves tailoring her approach to each team’s unique vibe, finding that sweet spot where culture, communication, and clever solutions collide. Though her degree is in architectural studies, Olivia’s path has been anything but traditional. Guided by curiosity over convention, she’s intentionally shaping a career that fuels her creativity and fulfills her deep sense of passion and purpose.
She may be 5'1", but Olivia doesn’t do anything small. A former collegiate triathlete and Ironman 70.3 Worlds qualifier, she now spends her free time running long-distance races through the desert. Beyond the races, she’s sparking joy across generations, volunteering with older adults and proving that connection is the ultimate endurance sport. Her mantra? “Good things come in petite packages”, and she’s the proof sprinting past you.
