He’s the human API between finance and every other department, translating dollars and decimals into insights that move the company forward. Whether he’s decoding new regulations or ensuring the books balance beautifully, Matt’s mantra is simple: “Keep stacking days.” Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it definitely had a great budget.

With a CPA license, an MBA in Accounting from Rockhurst University, and a reputation for keeping the financial ship not just afloat but cruising, Matt excels at turning numbers into strategy. Whether untangling the “One Big Beautiful Bill” or fine-tuning reports to reflect the firm’s financial pulse, he helps ensure BranchPattern’s books are as resilient as its buildings. His secret weapon? A love of consistency, because steady hands build strong futures.

Outside of work, Matt stays busy (and often one-handed) with young kids, mastering the art of multitasking with a toddler in tow. He and his wife not only share the same initials (MAS) but also perfectly aligned birthdays. Each other’s half-birthday, to be exact. When he’s not swimming with the kids or checking out the latest dessert spot, you’ll probably find him cheering on the Oklahoma City Thunder, a team he’s supported through every high and low.

Eliana Peralta-Sapienza is a dedicated Building Performance Analyst at BranchPattern, specializing in Building Performance Analysis for energy, operational carbon, and embodied carbon. Committed to her belief in leaving the world better than she found it, Eliana's mission is to enhance buildings' energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, thereby mitigating human impacts on the environment.

Since earning her Master’s in Sustainable Buildings and Environments from the UK in 2016, Eliana has been actively working to leave a positive mark on the sustainability field. She holds impressive credentials such as LEED BD+C, WELL AP, EDGE Expert, and LFA, and is an active member of USGBC and ILFI. Her commitment to leaving the world better than she found it has led her to work on notable projects globally, including in the UK, Ireland, Azerbaijan, and the Dominican Republic before joining BranchPattern. A highlight of her career was serving as an energy assessor for a 500 million euro leisure project in a forest.

Eliana’s creativity shines through her beautiful jewelry-making and expressive watercolor painting. Her artistic talents are complemented by her impressive linguistic skills, as she is fluent in four languages. This unique blend of artistry and multilingualism adds a vibrant and dynamic dimension to her professional and personal life.

Michele Davis is a Project Coordinator at BranchPattern, where she helps keep projects moving by supporting review teams, coordinating critical processes, and ensuring deadlines stay on track. Known for her responsiveness and reliability, Michele thrives behind the scenes, creating the structure and organization that allows project teams to focus on delivering exceptional results for clients. 

With a talent for streamlining administrative workflows and solving problems quickly, Michele has become a trusted resource across the firm. She is especially proud of successfully taking ownership of the Construction Administration (CA) process, building an efficient system that has become a dependable foundation for her teammates and freed them to focus on other priorities. Whether expediting requests or helping navigate day-to-day challenges, she enjoys being the person colleagues can count on when they need support. 

Driven by a commitment to service, Michele strives to exceed the expectations of both coworkers and clients through responsiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvement. She is passionate about making work easier for those around her and believes that strong operational support plays a vital role in every successful project.

Outside of work, Michele loves spending time outdoors with a good book, a great playlist, and her partner and kids. She also enjoys exploring locally owned businesses around Northwest Arkansas, especially those that celebrate and uplift the LGBTQIA+ community.

Emily Richie is a dedicated LEED Volume Project Manager at BranchPattern, where she guides project teams in reaching their sustainability goals. She believes the built environment plays a crucial role in people’s lives and hopes her work leaves a lasting, positive impact on both people and the planet. Emily thrives on helping others realize their sustainability vision alongside passionate colleagues. Her attention to detail and adaptability are her biggest strengths, allowing her to excel in the ever-evolving field of sustainability.

With her LEED AP BD+C credential, Emily is well-versed in green building standards. Although she is early in her career, she has already made significant strides by becoming a LEED accredited professional and helping certify numerous LEED buildings. Her enthusiasm for the green building industry is palpable, and she is excited to continue growing and making a positive impact.

Emily is all about the great outdoors and staying active—whether it’s running, climbing, skiing, or getting into her latest adventure, biking. Her dog is her trusty sidekick on park strolls and trail hikes. She's also a travel enthusiast with a deep curiosity for architecture, different cultures, and languages. You’ll find her exploring every nook and cranny on foot whenever she visits a new place. Next on her travel bucket list? Greece, where she can soak up history and sunshine in equal measure.

Nijin Varghese is a Project Manager at BranchPattern, where he helps clients achieve their sustainability goals through LEED and WELL consulting, project coordination, and collaborative team leadership. Specializing in LEED Volume projects, he manages certification documentation, facilitates communication between stakeholders, and works closely with project teams to deliver efficient, high-performance buildings that create lasting value.

With a background in civil engineering and a broad understanding of multiple engineering disciplines, Nijin brings a well-rounded perspective to every project. He is passionate about helping clients understand that sustainable design is not only beneficial for the environment, but also a smart business decision that can improve operational performance and long-term value. Known for his open-minded approach and ability to understand client needs, he enjoys building strong relationships while guiding teams through the certification process with clarity and confidence.

A LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, OSHA 10-Hour certified professional, and graduate of the Global Leadership Institute's LEAD360 program, Nijin is committed to helping clients create buildings that support both environmental performance and human well-being. His expertise across sustainability, wellness, and engineering allows him to develop practical, integrated strategies that deliver meaningful outcomes for owners, occupants, and communities.

Outside of work, Nijin volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and has a lifelong passion for music and the performing arts. An accomplished keyboard player who has performed in concerts and church ensembles, he also enjoys comedy and acting. Guided by Socrates' philosophy, "It is not living that matters, but living rightly," Nijin approaches both his professional and personal life with integrity, curiosity, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Grace Pechous is a vibrant Business Development Specialist at BranchPattern, driven by the optimistic philosophy of Ernest Hemingway: "Now is no time to think of what you do not have. When she's not championing sustainability, Grace embraces a rich personal life. A talented pianist who competed at the state level in her youth, she continues to find joy in music. She also stays active through hiking, running, yoga, and pilates, and has a zest for travel and adventure, always eager to explore new places and cultures. Grace's enthusiasm for continuous learning and growth fuels her journey both professionally and personally.

Olivia Hall is a Building Enclosure Specialist at BranchPattern, where she’s on a mission to make buildings better—one detail, meeting, and rabbit hole of discovery at a time. Whether she’s reviewing assemblies, chasing down subgrade specs, or learning from every conversation, Olivia brings relentless curiosity and just the right amount of mischief to keep things interesting. No two days look the same, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Currently LEED AP-certified (with BD+C and BECxP on the horizon), Olivia blends technical exploration with people-first project management. She loves tailoring her approach to each team’s unique vibe, finding that sweet spot where culture, communication, and clever solutions collide. Though her degree is in architectural studies, Olivia’s path has been anything but traditional. Guided by curiosity over convention, she’s intentionally shaping a career that fuels her creativity and fulfills her deep sense of passion and purpose.

She may be 5'1", but Olivia doesn’t do anything small. A former collegiate triathlete and Ironman 70.3 Worlds qualifier, she now spends her free time running long-distance races through the desert. Beyond the races, she’s sparking joy across generations, volunteering with older adults and proving that connection is the ultimate endurance sport. Her mantra? “Good things come in petite packages”, and she’s the proof sprinting past you.

Hanlin Tian is a Sustainability Consultant at BranchPattern, where his passion for collaboration and problem-solving drives him to deliver solutions that benefit both clients and the environment. A naturally curious and eager learner, Hanlin continuously seeks out new knowledge to refine his expertise in sustainability, always striving to find the most effective and practical strategies.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Hanlin is dedicated to giving back to his community. He actively volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, channeling his commitment to creating a positive impact into meaningful action. When he’s not working, Hanlin enjoys outdoor adventures like snowboarding and hiking. He dreams of one day exploring the Alps, combining his love for both activities by embarking on a backcountry snowboarding and hiking expedition.

Hannah Wilson is a Mechanical Engineer at BranchPattern, where she’s all about turning "disguised opportunities" into real wins. Specializing in HVAC and plumbing design, she ensures every project adheres to industry standards while pushing her clients toward more sustainable and innovative solutions.

Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering Management from St. Mary’s University, Hannah knows that the best opportunities often come from hard work and perseverance. As a committed member of ASHRAE YEA, she’s on the fast track to mastering load calculation software (IESVE), helping clients realize that sustainable solutions are the real game-changers.

Whether she’s hitting the court as a professional basketball player or tackling a challenging design project, Hannah brings her A-game every time. She knows that hard work is the key to unlocking potential, and she’s ready to take every shot at success, both on the court and in her career. Outside of work and play, Hannah loves unwinding with her beloved Great Dane, Mouse, whose gentle presence is the perfect counterbalance to her high-energy lifestyle.

Hetvi Vora sees sustainability as a blend of science and art, where every project is a canvas waiting to be filled with thoughtful, impactful solutions. As a Sustainable Design Consultant and WELL Performance Testing Agent at BranchPattern, she balances the technical precision of Carbon Accounting, WELL Performance Testing, and detailed research with a creative approach that brings life to her work. It’s not just about hitting numbers—it’s about designing spaces that feel as good as they perform, turning sustainability into a living, breathing art form. With a talent for translating complex data into meaningful strategies, Hetvi shapes each project into a masterpiece of smart, healthy, and sustainable design.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering and a Master of Science in Sustainable Building Systems from Northeastern University, she brings both expertise and passion to the table. Her toolkit is loaded with credentials like LEED AP ID+C, WELL AP, and ASSE Legionella Management—skills she puts into action every day. Most recently, she took things international by wrapping up her first LEED project in Italy.

But Hetvi’s talents don’t stop at spreadsheets and certifications. Hetvi’s also a comic artist, using her talents to bring humor and clarity to even the driest of topics. It’s her way of making sustainability not just accessible, but a little more fun. For Hetvi, it’s all about weaving together research, design, and a dash of humor to keep pushing boundaries—and maybe get a few smiles along the way.

Riley Root is a Mechanical Design Engineer at BranchPattern, where she designs plumbing and mechanical systems that support high-performing, efficient buildings. Working with tools such as Revit, CAD, Trace, and IES, she develops system designs, performs engineering calculations, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to help deliver practical, sustainable solutions for clients.

As an early-career engineer, Riley is passionate about continuous learning and embraces every opportunity to expand her technical expertise. She recently earned her Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification and is a LEED Green Associate, reflecting her commitment to both engineering excellence and sustainable design. She particularly enjoys working alongside experienced colleagues, asking questions, and building the knowledge that will prepare her for future professional milestones, including earning her Professional Engineer (PE) license.

At BranchPattern, Riley is known for her positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for supporting those around her. She believes strong relationships and an encouraging workplace are just as important as technical expertise, and she strives to make every project and every interaction a little better than she found it.

Outside of work, Riley enjoys spending time outdoors and is always ready for an adventure, whether it's water skiing, wake surfing, hiking, golfing, pickleball, or frisbee golf. During the colder months, she channels her creativity into scrapbooking, crocheting, and embroidery. Sam Blanchard understands that great things take time, but with focus and intention, everything falls into place. As a Commissioning Provider at BranchPattern, she applies this philosophy to her work, guided by the mantra "Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished." Her ability to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments is a key strength, as she’s always looking for ways to optimize processes and better support her team.

With a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Energy Systems from Illinois Institute of Technology, Sam takes on a wide range of commissioning projects, driven by the belief that patience and intentionality lead to lasting impact. One of her career highlights was working on one of the first LEED v5 certifications in the world, a testament to her commitment to pushing boundaries while ensuring projects stay on track and on target. She’s especially focused on optimizing BranchPattern’s commissioning approach for ILFI and MBCx projects, where precision and care are key.

Sam’s thoughtful, intentional approach extends beyond her professional life. She enjoys pottery, a craft that echoes her work philosophy—where patience, care, and steady progress result in something meaningful. When she’s not at work or the pottery wheel, Sam dedicates her time to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, knowing that small, consistent actions can make a big difference over time.
